Well, the first week was quite the rough one. I don't think I have ever had a baby that thought he needed to be held and screamed so much. We were beginning to wonder what was going on. I spent a lot of nights on the couch holding him just so I could get some shut eye.
Justin headed back to work Monday and I wasn't sure how I was going to do it. We had decided that Zayne was just going to have to cry a lot or find a way to comfort himself when I couldn't be there right away or needed to help the other boys. But come Monday, he was a completely different boy. We started out the morning the same, but I just let him know that he was going to have to cry for a minute. Not that he would understand, but I laid him down and he settled right down. I called Justin and asked him "What happened to our crier?" Needless to say we have had a much nicer week and Zayne is on a 3 hour schedule that is allowing us all to get some more shut eye.
The boys have been great big brothers and love to help in any way they can. However, we have been trying to get pictures of them in their new outfits Grandma gave them and for some reason Quentin doesn't know how to do a true smile anymore. What is it with kids and fake smiling. They are supposed to be easier to take pictures of as they get older aren't they? Oh well, below is the best I could do for now in their new outfits.
We are glad to report that we have made it through the first two weeks and look forward to the up coming weeks of life hopefully only getting better. Now if we can only get some nice warm weather so we can head outdoors to play.

My goodness girl, he is precious! He really is so adorable you could put him in commericals. I hope your weeks get better. I have had my share of 'criers' and it's physically and emotionally draining. It DOES get easier! Congratz again! I just want to give him a big hug!
