Easter

So I have discovered that I don't do a very good job taking pictures some times.  Unfortunately Easter was one of those times.  I did get some pictures, just not much.
Saturday, we celebrated with the Mangum family doing an Easter egg hunt, having a BBQ, and playing.   The boys had a lot of fun running around with their cousins.
Sunday, after church, we headed to be with the Hemingway family for another Easter egg hunt and more food.
The boys all got a movie and some more trio blocks.  Oh ya, and of course some candy, but not much since they don't really eat it.
We all had a lot of fun each day and enjoyed spending time with each other and family.

Quentin turns 8!

Wow!  What crazy last 2 weeks we have had.  My oldest boy just turned 8 and between parties, baptism, and life, we have been busy.
Quentin has been such a joy to have in our family and he is an amazing helper in our home.  Yes his help is some times frustrating, but for the most part he is wonderful.
Quentin had a friend party this year and wanted 12 boys to attend his party.  Luckily 4 were not able to make it, but what crazy fun we had.  We celebrated on April Fools Day and played lots of fun games that Quentin picked.
On his actual Birthday, he was taken out by his Grandma and pa Hemingway to pick out some scriptures and to his favorite restaurant Del Taco.  Then he was rushed to a soccer game that he had that evening.  So his Birthday was a bit crazy, but he seemed happy.
Then Saturday the 9th, he was baptized.  Quentin picked out a new suit and a yellow tie that he wanted to wear that day.  He was so handsome.  He was also so excited that he was being a bit shy and acting silly.  After the baptism, we had family over for snacks, and most importantly donuts and strawberries.  These are Quentin's favorite treats.  He had a lot of fun with his cousins and didn't want them to leave.  It was a great day.
Quentin wanted to play the donuts eating game.  Luckily the weather was good enough to be outside.

this was the mummy wrap game

did I forget to mention that Quentin started scouts.  He is having a blast and I can't get him to stop working on stuff.

Quentin and his daddy.  Quentin was not helping me get any good photos this day as you will see in the next few photos.

With Great Grandma Mangum.  Grandpa is still not doing well, so he stayed home.  Again silly pic of Quentin.

Great Grandma and Pa Hemingway
Yep, Great Aunt Jan made it and Quentin just so happened to give me a good smile in this one.
So like I said, Quentin chose to make all sorts of fun faces in all of his pictures taken with family.  I have so many more pictures that are fun and different.  It you would like to see what he was doing in the picture with your family, let me know and I will send it to you.
Thanks to everyone who came and spent this wonderful day with us.  You are the best family ever!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUENTIN!
