Zayne's Blessing and surgery

Well, we made it through most of June. We still have a few more busy things taking place this month, but the most challenging are finished. Zayne was blessed on June 14 by Justin and he did a wonderful job. Zayne behaved for the most part. He was definitely warn out and ready for some fussing alone time by the time the day was over. We were unable to have a lot of our family there and we missed them greatly. But it was nice to see and visit with those who could attend.

Zayne had his hernia surgery on June 4th and we survived. It wasn't to bad. Justin came up with me and took the boys to the Zoo while I sat at the hospital. Zayne is doing well and seems much better. Except for the fact he is much more needy. That is, he likes to be held to go to sleep all of the time now. He has also become much more of a mama's boy as well. So that has been a bit more frustrating. But hopefully with time we will get him back on schedule and back to normal, for him anyway.

Please ignore me in these pictures. I can't believe I am posting ones with me in them. Although they were the best pictures I had of Zayne. I am working on loosing weight the best I can and hoping to be comfortable posting pics of me soon. The second C-section has definitely been harder to loose the pouch. But I am getting there.

Our little Smiler and Quentin's graduation

Quentin just finished his first year in big kids school and he is so excited to be moving on to first grade. He was asking to attend school all day since he started Kindergarten. I hope his love of school continues on forever. He did so well in school and was his teachers little helper many times in helping teach the other kids how to do stuff. We are very proud of him and how well he has been doing.

Here are my three smiley boys. Zayne is finally getting old enough to actually smile and mean it. We are trying to take advantage of this and getting as many pictures as we can of him and the boys together. Zayne is now 2 months old and getting more and more fun with every day. He so far has still been my worst sleeper. But atleast he is only waking up twice in the middle of the night. So I am getting some sleep.
We did just find out that we have to take him in for surgery next week. They found a hernia and need to go in and fix it. We will be up at Primary Childrens just for the day and he should be aloud to come home that day. I hope all goes well and we survive all that will be intaled in this.
Poor kid.

Cyrus is 3!!!!!

I can't believe Cyrus is now three years old and if you can't tell, he had a very happy day. We spent the day together with family. Justin's sister Jena did the cake again for me. She does such an amazing job and it saves me a lot of hassle. Cyrus was so happy with his Mickey Mouse club house cake. He also got the characters to go with it.

Cyrus is also my little dinosaur boy. He loves all animals and characters right now and loves to walk and talk with his toys everywhere he goes. We rarely leave the house without a dinosaur or something like that in tow.

He seemed to be having a very happy day and we love him very much. Happy Birthday Cyrus!

April at the Hemingway household

Here is a picture of all the boys with Grandpa Hemingway and Great Grandpa Hemingway. You never know when it might be the last time they are all together.

So I don't have a whole lot of time to blog right now, but I figured I would get some pictures up and let you know what we have been up to lately. The boys have been enjoying painting with their new paints they got for Quentin's birthday. As well as coloring with chalk on the black board and outside. The spend any time they can outside right now while the weather cooperates and it has been great.
Here they are at Justin's parents home ready to find their Easter eggs in their cool bunny ear hats that Aunt Jena helped them make. She always has some kind of craft to make with them when they come over. They also made hand print flowers for me.
I just thought this was a great picture of Zayne looking up at them and them looking down on him. Very cute in my opinion.
And my cute little Zayne of course. Can't get enough of him and his many faces.
Life is good and busy and we are enjoying the great warm weather while we get it. We have been working in the yard and loving the progress that is coming together on it. The boys helped pick out the seeds they want to plant in the garden and can't wait to help plant and watch them grow. We also spend a lot of time with Quentin at his soccer games right now and loving that. He is doing so well this year and is finally getting the hang of how to play. We just registered him for another year and hope he continues to have fun with it.

We hope you are all doing well and love you for all of your love and support. Thank you so much!
